Why You Need to Know About the New Pinterest Following Tab

Why you need to know about the new Pinterest following tab…
You may remember in 2014, Pinterest launched their smartfeed, giving users a custom experience based on their interests, instead of simply showing chronological pins from people they follow.
The Pinterest following tab allows users to only see pins from the people they follow
The new following tab allows users to scroll through pins exclusively from people they follow (with an occasional promoted pin in the mix). These pins have time stamps showing that they were pinned recently as well.
It remains to be seen what kind of an impact this could have on blogging traffic, but at first glance, this seems like a huge step in the right direction.
As a blogger, your pins should now show up more prominently in your follower’s feeds
As a user, I am excited to see a feed that I’ve chosen for myself based off of my following habits, and as a blogger, I’m hopeful that this will mean my pins show up more prominently in the following feeds of my fans.
Have you looked at your following feed yet?
Where to find the new Pinterest Following tab
If you are on desktop, you’ll find the icon right next to the search bar.
From your mobile device you can click the button that says “following” down at the bottom of your screen when you are on the Pinterest app.
Are you as excited about this change as we are?
