MiloTree is GDPR Compliant and Why We Think GDPR is a Good Thing!

MiloTree is GDPR compliant and has been from the beginning!

We designed the MiloTree pop-up from the start with privacy in mind.

We believe in user choice and not trickery.

It is why we chose not to use technology like cookies which can be of concern to people.

Our pop-up has never stored or tracked any personal information, including IP addresses. That’s why when we first read about GDPR, we were happy to see what they were doing!

Our default text on our email pop-up is already GDPR compliant by itself.

But if you change the text, as you might offer a lead magnet, where it no longer explicitly tell the user that they are being subscribed to a newsletter list, we offer a two-step confirmation to make the email pop-up GDPR compliant. It looks like this.
