As an example, let’s say your expertise is teaching marketers how to use AI tools. And your result is helping them save hours of work each week and create better content. ChatGPT will ask you targeted questions about your process, then organize your answers into a structured method.

So you’ve got your method. Now let’s turn it into an actual product to sell.

How much can you charge for a one-hour coaching call on Zoom? I’ve seen everything from $97 to $197, $297, even more.

Here’s how to think about pricing: What is the result worth to them?

  • If you help someone land a job — that’s worth thousands.
  • If you help them lose 20 pounds — that’s worth hundreds.
  • If you help them finally get organized and stop feeling overwhelmed — that’s worth a lot too.

You’re not charging for your time. You’re charging for the result. I want you to think about it that way.

$97 is a great starting point, and you can adjust afterwards. But first, a gut check.


The 6 Purchasing Triggers That Make People Buy

People buy for six specific reasons. I call these my six purchasing triggers:

  1. Make money
  2. Save money
  3. Save time
  4. Move toward happiness
  5. Move away from pain
  6. Raise their social status

Your coaching needs to hit at least one of these. The more triggers you hit, the easier it is to sell.

Can you help someone make money? Save time? Move away from pain? That’s what makes people pull out their credit card.


AI Prompt #2: The Offer Builder

Now use this second prompt to create your complete coaching offer:

“Based on my method for [YOUR TOPIC], help me create a coaching offer. Make sure it hits at least one of these six buying triggers: make money, save money, save time, move toward happiness, move away from pain, raise social status. Give me what the coaching includes, who it’s for, which triggers it hits, a suggested price point based on the value of the result (not my time), and a one-line sales pitch I can use in my content marketing.”
