The pop-up you put in the first position of your pop-up builder will show to all your visitors first. Then when that visitor comes back to your site, they will see the pop-up service you configured. And when that visitor comes back for a third time, they’ll see the third pop-up you configure, and so on…

This way you are only asking your visitor to do one thing per visit, but what you are asking them changes with each visit.

Yes! We know where your traffic is coming from (desktop, phone, or tablet) and automatically show a larger pop-up to your visitors on desktop and a smaller (Google-friendly) version on mobile. We baked this technology right into MiloTree so you don’t have to think about it!

Yes! We designed MiloTree from the start with privacy in mind. We believe in user choice and not trickery.

It is why we chose not to use technology like cookies which can be of concern to people. Our pop-up has never stored or tracked any personal information, including IP addresses.

There can be scenarios with the email pop-up, however, where it would not be compliant. This would happen if the text in the pop-up is changed to no longer explicitly state that if someone enters their email address, they will be subscribed to a newsletter.

For these kinds of scenarios, we are in the process of rolling out an optional opt-in checkbox.

We are testing it now, and making sure it is a smooth experience, especially on mobile. It will be live shortly!

Yes! We automatically populate your social media pop-ups with your posts, pins, and videos, but you can choose your background, text, and button colors. For your email pop-up, you get to customize text and choose your background, text, and button colors.

You can also decide where you want your pop-up to slide in from on desktop (right, left, bottom right, bottom left) and on mobile (left, right).

And if you don’t want your pop-up sliding in right away, you can have it delay until someone scrolls on your page.

No! We use MiloTree on our other site,Catch My Party, so page load performance is super important to us. To get all geeky technical on you, the pop-up script loads asynchronously, is embedded at the end of the page, and uses Amazon’s CDN to load quickly.

MiloTree was built by husband and wife team, Jillian and David Leslie.

Jillian and David started Catch My Party in 2009, and have grown it into the largest party ideas site on the web.

They built MiloTree to grow Catch My Party’s social media followers, and when it worked so well, they rolled it out as a separate company to help other businesses grow their followers and subscribers.

Right now, the MiloTree team consists of Jillian, David, and Paula, our MiloTree Community Manager.

Fun fact:David was head of Product Management at MySpace (back in the good old days!) and Jillian was a screenwriter in Hollywood and has a BA and MBA from Stanford.
