PAID WORKSHOP 12 Day Launch Calendar
Roadmap
- STEP 1: Come up with your PAID WORKSHOP TOPIC
- STEP 2: Set up your SALES PAGE in MiloTreeCart
- STEP 3: PROMOTE and SELL your workshop
DAY 1: Pick your PAID WORKSHOP TOPIC
- (DOWNLOAD) Download the “How to Pick a Workshop Topic” Worksheet
- (WATCH) Watch the “How to Pick a Workshop Topic” video
- (FILL OUT) Fill out your worksheet
DAY 2: SET IT UP in MiloTreeCart
- (SET UP) Add your workshop details in your MiloTreeCart dashboard (name and price)
- (SET UP) Set up your Sales Page using our fill-in-the-blank template and these Chat GPT prompts to help you. You can see a step-by-step tutorial here.
- (SET UP/CONNECT) Set up or connect your Stripe account to MiloTreeCart so you can collect credit card payments. Once this is done, your sales page is ready to go! Woo hoo!
DAY 3: Set up your ZOOM ACCOUNT
- (SET UP) Sign up for a $14.99/month paid Zoom account. (You can cancel after your workshop)
- (SET UP) Use this Zoom Setup Checklist to schedule your one-hour workshop
DAY 4: Set up your “THANK YOU EMAIL” for your atendees
- (SET UP) If you don’t have one, sign up for an email service provider (our favorite: MailerLite, where you get your first 1,000 subscribers free and you can cancel after your workshop)
- (SET UP) In your email service provider, set up a special “tag” or “group” for your future customers called “Workshop”
- (CONNECT YOUR EMAIL SERVICE TO MILOTREECART) In your MiloTreeCart dashboard, click on the “Product Details” button next to your workshop. In the nav bar, click on the link called “Email Integration.” Connect your email service to MiloTreeCart (if your email service is not listed, reach out to me at jillian@milotree.com). Click on the “Workshop” list/tag/group you set up. This way your customers’ email addresses are automatically added. Step-by-step tutorial here.
DAY 5: Time to START SELLING
- (SALES EMAIL) Send sales email 1 to your list (If you don’t have an email list, skip this step)
- (LISTEN) To get into the selling mindset, please listen to my Blogger Genius Podcast episode: “My 8 Best Tips on Selling and Why You Need This NOW!”
- (SHARE A TIKTOK OR REEL) Announce your workshop and it’s benefits.
-(SOCIAL MEDIA POST) Using Canva template 1, post graphic on social media. (Customize colors,
edit text, add your images.)
DAY 6: SELLING and PROMOTING
- (SALES EMAIL) Send sales email 2 to your list
– (SOCIAL MEDIA POST) Using Canva template 2, post graphic on social media. (Customize colors,
edit text, add your images.)
- (SHARE A TIKTOK OR REEL) Talk about the problem you’re solving, and paint the picture of your solution
End of DAY 6 Evaluation
- If you have at least 1 sale, congrats! We recommend you offer the workshop. Continue on with the launch calendar. Keep promoting. You got this!
- If you have no sales, nice job testing your idea! But we recommend you hold off on doing your workshop. Brainstorm another workshop idea, create a new sales page in MiloTreeCart, wait 2 weeks, and start promoting again. This is the beauty of testing your idea before creating anything.
DAY 7: SELLING and PROMOTING
- *OPTIONAL: (CREATE PRESENTATION) Use our Canva presentation template, put together your 1-hour workshop (plan on 45 minutes for teaching and 15 minutes for Q&A)
- (SHARE A TIKTOK OR REEL) Talk about the problem you’re solving, and paint the picture of your solution
DAY 8: SELLING and PROMOTING
- (SALES EMAIL) Send sales email 3 to your list
– (SOCIAL MEDIA POST) Using Canva template 3, post graphic on social media (Customize colors,
edit text, add your images.)
- (CREATE BONUS) This is optional, but recommended. Use Canva to create your bonus PDF: checklist, how-to, shopping list, printable, etc.
DAY 9: SELLING and PROMOTING
- (SALES EMAIL) Send sales email 4 to your list
- (GO LIVE ON SOCIAL MEDIA) On social media, talk about the problem you’re solving, and paint a picture of the transformation
- ( REMINDER EMAILS) Schedule these “Reminder Emails” to go out on these specific days as a one-time email:
DAY 10: SELLING and PROMOTING
- (SALES EMAIL) Send sales email 5 to your list
– (SOCIAL MEDIA POST) Using Canva template 4, post graphic on social media (Customize colors,
edit text, add your images.)
- (SHARE A TIKTOK OR REEL) Talk about the problem you’re solving, and paint the picture of your solution
DAY 11: Last day SALES PUSH!
- (SALES EMAIL) Send sales email 6 to your list
- (GO LIVE ON SOCIAL MEDIA) Talk about the problem you’re solving with your workshop, and paint a picture of the transformation
- (PRACTICE) Do a test-run of your workshop and test run of Zoom (check settings)
- (SHARE A TIKTOK OR REEL) Talk about the problem you’re solving, and paint the picture of your solution
DAY 12: Day of the WORKSHOP!
- (SALES EMAIL) Send email 7 in the morning. (people are last minute!)
- (GO BE AWESOME!) Keep your workshop to exactly one hour (45 minutes to present/15 minutes for Q&A) and remember, your goal is to build a real relationship with your attendees!
- (SET UP) After the session, upload the Zoom video to YouTube as an unlisted video
DAY 13: Day AFTER the workshop
- (WRAP UP EMAIL) Email your attendees your “Thanks For Coming” email. Make sure to include:
- A link to the unlisted video
- The bonus PDF you’ve created, if applicable
- A reminder of your big bonus
- Your next offer!
- Ask for a short testimonial
(KNOW THIS!) If you deliver, your customers will buy from you again and again!!
